Carb'ed Blade or Carb'ed R1...

Steve

I'm biased toward the Blade for obvious reasons...

Zil, you're crap, always limiting people's options............

Something pre 93 so you do not have to suffer emmisions, so thats an 893 blade if bec, drop in the 1300gt if CEC

what about the Essex V6

but seriously - my advice would be stick with the x-flow just now (assuming there is nothing wrong with it) and upgrade later once the car's on the road

otherwise you could endup with a never ending build like mine.........

Why not try fitting a Outboad motor lump like DT200 Suzuki.
2.7 litre V6 2 stroke. 200hp.
Bit of a challenge , and may not pass smoke test on emmisions.

But what a sound.

Don't forget the Yamaha FJR1400. Fairly new at the moment but they are shaft drive so its dead easy to fit the engine the same way round as it is in the bike, ie, across the chassis.

AND, they have a shaft that runs across the back of the gearbox that, with a bit of engineering can be converted to give an output on both sides... turn it sideways and 4x4 is possible

My vote remains with the Busa, 180 BHP at the crank as standard and endless tuning goodies available from UK and particularly across-the-water as they are the ultimate bikes for drag racing. They can be persuaded to push out up to 500BHP and more. There is even a company producing a twin turbo V8 out of two Busa blocks on a common crank with 1000 BHP!!!!
