I made the first attempt to drop my R1 Engine (5JJ late '02 carb model) into the chassis for the first time today but came a cropper. The mounting points in the top cradle were nowhere near the mounts on the front of the engine. I have had a search on the forum for pictures showing my cradle and have to come think that i may have been given the wrong one from MK (i.e. one for a FI engine). Can anyone confim if they are different and that I may have the wrong one? This link shows mine. Engine Cradle.

im fitting a 5pw 2003 but my cradle is different to yours
