im trying to work out where this goes 2003 r1 5pw 60cm long one end is a 90 deg white plastic joiner and at that same end is some extra protective pipe

looks like a hose for the battery or carb?

looks line an engine or carb hose. Perhaps between a breather hole and the airbox.

The 4xv R1 engine has 2 hoses that go to a metal plate that bolts onto the cam tensioner. They're just open to the atmosphere from there.

i still cant see where it would go it def goes between something as both ends have spring clips on

I'm now initimate with the plumbing on my engine (5pw) and it doesn't appear to be any of the water hoses. Although, it might be thermostat to expansion tank...
