Ok...looked again into doing an electric 7.....batteries way too expensive for the mileage i want to achieve, although Still thinking about it as it
really appeals.
I just can't get excited about a car engine, dunno why so looking at the other option of bike engine. So..
Which engine would be a good all round cheap, easy install, reliable and available unit?

Screamer??
ZXR1400, R1, GSXR1000, CBR1000RR New V-Max? 1800cc & 210bhp
Not bothered about ultimate top end??
Cheap options,
Old Cbr1000, ZZr1100, GSXR1100, FJ1200, FJR1300
Current 750's make way over 100bhp as well...
TONS to go for, sure there will be more added to the list

For a cheap, easy, and reliable install it has to be either carbed Fireblade or up to '03 R1 IMHO, or possibly a ZX12 if you have a little more
money.
So may people have done them in the past so there's plenty of knowledge on what works, and plenty of off-the-shelf parts which keep the cost down
compared to having to get bespoke parts made.
ZX9R. More than enough power for you and generally cheaper than a Blade
Phil
steam engine
ZX9R or Blade gets my vote for cheaper BEC.
Could this rate as the most entirely theoretical thread ever written?
Come on Andy.... as if!

Well James you know me..... I like to weigh up all the options, Then do something totally boring

for the money i would say zx9
but at the end of the day the choice is yours
