Hi all, does anyone now if there is a specific map for a hayabusa in an mk or do you just use a bike one, if so which one is best?

I got a similarly blank response when I asked about R1 maps. I think there's very few people on here who have had their cars mapped and are running a sufficiently generic setup to make it worthwhile sharing.

I'm just using the stock map until I can find time to test back to back.

im using a standard map atm but need it set for sva

You can download generic maps from the Power Commander website but the variants are based on the different systems available for motorbikes, not kit-cars.

The whole point of fitting a Power Commander (for us at least) was to be able to tune the fuelling to suit our particular setup and ensure the engine performs at it's optimum. The same map will not necessarily be useable for all kit cars fitted with ZX12R's. They all breath very differently due to the way they've been built and the components used and therefore need their own individual custom map.

If you're not interested in optimum performance then just download one of the generic maps.

Hi, i am def after best performance, it looks like a dyno job to get it sorted to its best, anyone recommended, i have a guy around the corner but bec is not his hotspot.

Unfortunately, there are very few places that have both the facilities and capability to run a BEC car on a dyno and build you a custom map.

Since Holeshot moved to Ireland, the only three places I know of are;

PDQ - Berkshire
Powertec - Peterborough
TTS - Northampton
