I am having trouble getting correct fitment of my pipercross air filter to my R1 5jj carbs

I would appreciate some photos of any backing plates fitted to a 5jj engine

My 04 R1 with a itg filter.

Just a small point before you cut the holes, the centres are not equally spaced.
I drew a line and worked outwards from the centre with a compass scribe. Used a nibbler to remove most material and a power file for the last bit.
The picture of the plate with the pipercross airbox posted is a different (bigger) size than most blanks, and I think MNR sell one precut for the R1 carbs anyway.
