Busa speedo healer not working
finlay - 23/7/08 at 07:00 PM

hi again all

well i now have the problem of my speedo not working

the set up im using is

original busa speed sensor on a bracket over the gearbox output shaft flange which i have fitted 2 tabs @ 12 oclock and 6 oclock for the speed sensor to pick up
im also using speedo healer and original busa inst/clocks

unfortunatly it aint working, i followed all the instructions to a tee but still nothing, no indication of any speed at all, i followed the test set up instructions of the speedo healer, it all works up until it asks you to spin the rear wheels to make the t for test mode flash, well it doesnt flash, but i can move the needle on the original busa clocks move about, so the speedo healer must be doing something

anyone else had this kind of problem or any solutions ?

much appriciated

cheers

Finlay

I set my original sensor to pick up on the propshaft adaptor flange bolts - worked a treat with speedo healer.

Doesn't seem to make a difference that the bolts are not equi-distant around the circumferance....

they dont need to be magnets , but make sure you dont use stainless
