black boxes on the busa cam cover. What do they do?

What do them black boxes on the busa cam cover with a pipe on each going to a eletronic valve do? with the engine ticking over they seem to be sucking in and I am wondering if this has something to do with my high Lambda reading?

On a kawaski its called an air switching valve, helps emissions and engine breathing?

Hi, its a 2008 busa and Ive also seen them on GSXR 1000 in a MK at Stoneleigh.

Sounds just like what I have on my Blade 929 Engine. It is for engine emissions. On my engine there are 2 covers (REED VALVE COVERS) with a hose coming out of each which connects to the PAIR CONTROL SOLENOID VAVLE. Basically this is an Exhaust Emissions Control System (Secondary Air Supply Sysytem).

I have attached a pic and the red circle will show where the box is poss situated. Yours will prob be Suzuki's own version of the same thing If I find it I will post it
