Hi all

everyone a happy 2004...

I've bought a sprocket adapter for my zx12r
(MK supplied to dutch dealer)
but he doesn't know from what car / make the bolt pattern of the
adapter flange is.

What bolt pattern is normally being used?
( rear diff= sierra )

need to know , because i want to get a new propshaft made (with TRT)

regards koen

Hi,
I had an MK adaptor flange (for a fireblade), and had a propshaft made to fit this. The propshaft guy (from Gregory Propshafts, N. Ireland) told me that the bolt pattern/size was fairly standard (I gave him the adaptor to make sure he got it right), and the slider / UJ that it bolted onto was taken from the power take off from a lorry unit apparently.
If I were you, I'd drop the sprocket adaptor into the propshaft people to let them see it.
Best of luck,
Alister

I was talking to a friend tonight who told me that the pattern for that sprocket adaptor is a old Ford small sized flange. Not sure which car it was fittted to, perhaps the old MK1 escort or even an Anglia or something. Sorry I can't be more accurate. Hope that helps.

I think the front joint we used was from a Reliant Robin. I don't know if they would be available onthe continent though, they are native to the U.K. I think

yours, Pete.
