
I have an A1 zx1200, which according to Kwakker is a UK spec engine. I also have a wiring loom which is NOT UK spec??
The main difference is on the ignition switch although there are other minor differences elsewhere in the loom such as no second, right hand,
handlebar switch.
Having now spent the entire day tracing almost all of the wires in the loom and cross referring to the 4 diagrams I have -
UK
Malaysia
Australia
USA/Canada
I have come to the conclusion that it can only be Malaysia or USA/Canada but definitely not UK.
Is this going to cause me no end of bother and should I get another loom or do we reckon it'll be reet???
Not sure on the zx12, but I'm using a uk 2005 zx10 with a usa loom and ecu to get around the uk security. Everything works fine

I believe the main difference is that there is no immobiliser fitted. Most like this as there is less to go wrong...
