Following on from my 'No longer Wanted' post, it looks like I need a new magnet for my speed pick-up!! I've wasted most of today
looking for it so it must be stuck to something!
If I lived in the good old US of A, they sell them for $2.95 for two. That's about £1.83 or less than 92p each. Here in blighty, Trail Tech want
£7.70 plus P&P for two!! Ebay has them for £6.95 plus 95p P&P and it would hurt me deeply to have to pay that just to circumnavigate my
stupidity!
Any clues guys? Or should I buy a bag full from the States and sel them for £2 a go??
Buy a magnetic cupboard door catch from your local DIY store - remove the magnet and stick it in place with Araldite.
Good call. I'll see if they have any little round ones as I've already drilled the edge of the diff flange to fit it!
Local Maplins.

Almost Pence.
If you have a sensor that's not very sensitive then go for the rare earth ones - £10 for 2...
Job Done.

Excellent! The 'local' Maplins is 50 miles away but swmbo wanted to go somewhere at the weekend. Looks like that 'somewhere' could
involve Maplins.
Thanks folks.
DigitalSpeedos.co.uk. £6 for 6 on the koso accessories page

or if you have a scrap hard-drive they have some incredibly powerful magnets in them, they might work.
