Bespoke wiring loom
J222jra - 28/1/16 at 07:12 PM

Hey guys.....does anyone have any recommendations for a bespoke wiring loom specialist?

I know I can make one myself but I'm wanting a proper job this time with no silly glitches. I'm wanting them to have the car so it's made to fit it properly.

Thanks in advance.

Premier Looms - UK guy based in spain. I gave him a spec and it came through fine.

I think it depends a little on what you want a loom to do. I wanted a loom to fit my MX5 based Haynes so wanted to use all standard equipment, ECU, transponder key, immobiliser etc. I spoke to several who would make me a basic loom but would not do a loom that utilised all the things like the immobiliser. One did offer to travel to Norfolk from Leicester to evaluate my car and then quote for a loom but he indicated that it would be more than £500.
I used the loom from my donor and cut a lot of unused parts out and shortened the rest in the end.

If you are doing an emerald / omex ecu with a standard loom or similar I guess it will be easy with several suppliers

I used RapidFit - brilliant service, always answered my silly questions promptly and very good value for money

What are you building - most kit makers and sellers offer some form of wiring loom to go with their cars.

Myself I used a Vicky Green wiring loom for my Pinto engined MK Indy. Was cheap and worked perfectly as well.
