Hi All Just been watching a video (no1 of aset of 6 ) of the TV series . Think this one has the most shots of the original car. But.anyone happen to know how that white ball --apparently referred to as "The Rover"---was done? If it was superimposed,it was well done for all those years ago! Hmmm Intriguing! ROD

This was one of the influences for me to build a 7 , I have all the videos , but I'll probably sell them and get the DVD's

Anyway I think I read somewhere that rover was nothing more than a weather balloon on some fishing line , good eh!!!!

Been thinking ....what with all the latest technology,someone,somewhere ,has probably built a radio controlled "rover" !!ROD

My son bought a rover when we were at Portmeirion earlier this year.
Its a very big balloon, he's not managed to fully inflate it yet, it takes about 4 cubic metres of air.
