Mine's standard tune Blacktop with bike carbs. I don't get less than 38 on the road. I would guesstimate on the track it does about 20-25.

My worst ever was Bedford Autodrome when I hadn't mapped the Megasquirt properly yet. About 6mpg that was an expensive day.

After mapping it properly, rather than just throwing fuel at it to stop anything melting, I get 17mpg on track, 35+mpg on road. That's with a 220ish bhp zetec turbo. I think I could lean out the midrange still more yet, which would mean even better road mpg.

EFI will always kill carbs in terms of mpg - it allows you to get the fuelling spot on right across the rev range, rather that in 2 or 3 distinct places like carbs do.

My St did 40mpg on the way to Stoneliegh this year sticking behind trucks and keeping it under 65~70ish.

On the way back with it raining and keeping the speed up it returned about 28mpg.

Hope my MS conversion will improve on them figures
