solid copper gasket

hi

im on a mission to match a 16v bike head onto a car engine block. one issue im having is what gasket to use.

heres what im thinking, can someone confirm or not if this would be ok?!

using a tap and die set, redrill and tap all oil + water holes and thread a metal pipe. screw pipe into holes and leave a couple of mm sticking out of the block. drill out that couple of mm in the head so the pipe is a nice tight fit when bolted on.

The gasket would be 2mm copper with bore holes cut out and holes for the pipes so should fit over them and the head bolts and hold in place.

would this be ok?!

thanks

BMW to BMC A series?
Payen will make you a gasket if you supply a pattern,as for solid copper, tried it once, leaked like a sieve

water/oil/compression...i know bikes of my era used them but they had a comp ratio of about 7 to 1 and external oil feeds.
