Hi Guys,

This is a technical one. I'm fitting an electronic speedo to my car. It's using mk2 escort running gear with the type 2 4 speed gearbox.

Does anyone know how many revolutions the speedo take off shaft makes to each revolution of the road wheel?

Would hazard a guess the ratio is whatever the diff is...

Depends on dif' ratio and the gear on the output shaft/speedo sensor.

Tyre diameter will also come into the equation
