zx10r power commander

i have a zx10r 07 year and a power commander i got of ebay and dont no where to start.
i have the mnr 421 exhaust and a pipercross air sponge over the intakes
i understand i need to fit a cat for sva will this alter the settings of the commander when the cat is removed?
also do i have to get the car to a dynojet rolling road to set up or is there maps that i can just download to run properly.
is this a sensitive area with the wrong map,i dont want to damage the engine.
thanks.

MNR may have a base map for ZX10 that you can load to get you somewhere near. You will then have to get the emissions correct with the cat fitted either by taking to a rolling road or adjusting at SVA if your tester will let you. After SVA when you take your CAT off you will then ideally need to have it setup again this time for full power.
At MOT time you can load the SVA map and fit the cat then after MOT remove CAT and load proper map again.

You can get maps from the power commander web site, loads to choose from.
