anyone know if the superblackbird engine is a heavy engine/ good engine for BEC. the largest engine i have driven is a 900cc kawasaki!
I have seen a westfield megabird on pistonheads which is not quite complete and not SVA'D. they dont know the age of the engine is this a

Try a search ref the blackbird lump. Very prone to going pop due to oil starvation (no 3 cylinder I beleive). If they have dry sumped or Accumsumped,
you should be good.

If you are in the market for a finished car you can't get much better than this
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/821002.htm
R1 fury with all the right bits, goes like stink (easily as fast as a westy megabird) and has really been well setup (I know the car and owner). Has
loads of expensive bits on it and will probably go for 8K if you haggle.
