ZX12 itg airfilter fitting

How have you guys done it as it looks like i'll have to make spacers to space the back plate away from the fuel rail.

have you got any pics ?

I'm using part of the bike airbox to make the connection to my ZX9R carbs - maybe you could do something similar :?

also I've got an ITG JC40 backplate I can measure and I can turn up spacers for you if needed

we have a lathe etc, i was just curious as to what other folk have done.

Do you have the original ZX12R ram pipes? If so, the ram pipes can be bolted to the backplate and the backplate and filter push fitted. This should give it plenty of clearance from the fuel rail.

Ah, yeah i saw those pics just havnt got around to trying with the trumpets yet, Phil, how did you get the spacing right?
