New ZX14 engine anyone?
from totalkitcar this morning:
"Leading bike engine tuners and all round good people, AB Performance……..are the first suppliers of inline four bike engines to be able to sell
an official ex-works crate motor after they tied up a deal this week with Kawasaki to be able to supply the immense 200bhp (standard trim; tune it for
much more.) ZZR1400 (aka ZX-14R in some territories)!
The best part of is that AB Performance are selling these brand new Kawasaki-supplied ZZR-1400 engines for just £3750 inc VAT."

Not that I have any intention of swapping my trusty Pinto for a ZX14, but does the price include ancillaries and fuell/ignition/ecu systems?
If so that seems like a pretty good price really.

It includes the loom, ECU, sensors, fuel pump and throttle bodies, everything needed to make it run, apparently.

I know it may seem a big lump of dosh but if you think you are getting:-
Engine
Gearbox
Ancilliaries
ECU
Loom
200 bhp
All brand fire new, so no need to clean / spanner / recon anything.
Compare it to buying a used engine ( CEC or BEC) gearbox combo and cleaning / reconning it all with the TB's and ECU etc. I think the sums would
be quite interesting regarding how much would be spent.

this summer engine kits will be in short supply as all the UK salvage is going abroad because of the low euro rate
