R1 Airbox... which years fit?
After an airbox for my 2003 R1.
Which years fit this engine?
pre 2003 or post 2003?
Looked on e-Bay and there seems to be different styles, non currently a 2003 model.

You need an airbox for the 5PW model, which were produced 2002 -> 2003. The earlier carb'd models are not compatible with your throttle body
arrangement. Later injected engines also have a different airbox.

Hi only the 2003 5PW will fit early ones are carbd and too big later are EFI and spacings are different
give MNR a ring they have most of my 5PW motor kits and they dont use the airbox just the rubbers

i picked up a 5pw box off ebay for about a tenna, might be worth a try.

I just bought a second one from ebay as i plan to modify one for a cold air feed as the current is blocked by the chassis rail.
plan on running them back to back and noise test both. may have one up for sale if my modified one works well in all areas
