No spark
I had the wiring loom of the ZZR1200 laid out and connected it up and the motor fired and ran first time. Yipeee.
Now I've tidied the wiring and extended the ignition switch leads to use the switch on the sierra column, extended the leads to the coil packs
to look tidier. Now no spark
Checked all the extended wires, good continuity (they were all soldered).
The fuel pumps pump, the engine turns over, Neutral light works, earthed out the reed switch. On the red wires to the coils there is a feed, checked
with meter.
I cant find the side stand wires. As it ran last time I presumed that the previous owner had joined the wires together in the loom and covered over.
Tonight to be on the safe side I will earth out the lead as it goes into the junction box. The stop swtch is also bypassed.
Anyone got any suggestions and my head hurts where I have banged it against the wall so much.

When you fired it up the first time was that on the Kawasaki switch and key? Is there not an immobiliser type gadget built into the key/switch??
