Wat Horsepower has an R1??

Hey, wats the best bike engine to use for a locost? was thinkin bout an R1. Can any1 tell me wat horsepower they're packing? Cheers

150bhp - and great engine to use in a BEC.

They seem to be more than that with a sausage filter and good exhaust, I think Rich Miles got nearly 170bhp out of his on a rolling road recently.
Have a look on his site for lots of info on the R1 Striker R1

The 2004 R1 has 180 bhp.
No experience if Dry Sump is needed, though

Err if you mean the entire back end then its part of the kit you get from RAW Engineering (previously Sylva before they sold the rights to RAW).
