I seem to remember this in a previous thread. I think some have stayed with the ZX9 rad and others have opted for a nissan Micra rad. Myself, fitted a blade engine, went with the micra rad just to get that little bit extra cooling. My thinking was that the engine was now enclosed under a bonnet and would naturally get hotter that if it was in a bike frame.
Saying that tho....I havent heard of anyone having problems having stuck with the original bike rad. They seem to pop up a bit on ebay as well, so check that out .

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not

Berwyn,

I know of a few people who had problems with overheating after using the original bike radiators. Both have now replaced them though

Micra rad fitted with a Spal high flow fan - no overheating even on long track days.

Some of it depends on the engine / install though, Ive had the standard blade rad on mine for 2 years / 20 trackdays and never had any problems at all.
