Extra oil pressure light on 99 R1?

Hello all, well as the car is now up and running once more I am considering making a few changes to it, one of which is to wire in an extra oil pressure light. I already have an extra oil pressure gauge, and the bike clocks have the original oil pressure light which works, so can you tap into that feed to run a brighter dash mounted light?

Thanks

Lee

Hi Lee

Are you sure you have an oil pressure warning light? I thought the R1s had an oil level warning light.

On the later R1's it's a level light. Thought it was on the earlier ones.

The problem with a low presure light is the presure drops to just 6psi at idle, so it'd come on whenever the revs drop. Alternativly you set it low enough not to and it does you no good when you need it.
