Turbo busa
Just wondering if anyone out there has dropped a turbocharged busa engine in a locost. At close to 1000 pounds and 300hp, what would the 0-60 and 1/4
times be? I think the problem would be harnessing the power, like traction would be key. Just a thought.

Dax make a Rush Hayabusa Turbo with (I think) 350bhp.
Apparently it's very fast!

good diff and wide tyre, should be fun! a triffle expensive.
450bhp is possible at 18psi, and someone once suggested 550 was too!

Its all money, money, money when turbo charging busa's though.
£ per BHP its probably more expensive than most alternatives.
But if thats what floats your boat and you have the ca$h to do the job it will be one mean mother trucker

There are a couple of Turbo and Supercharged Westfield Megabusas and Dax's floating around. TTS do a supercharger conversion which gives about
250bhp at the rear wheels, not sure on price but its nots cheap. There is also a Holeshot turbo conversion which can put out anything up to about
450bhp I believe.
Here's a couple of relevent threads to be going on with

thread 2

I am sat here looking at the back of the current speedscene magazine (Hillclimb and sprint mag) where there is a TTS advert. 200+bhp from a non turbo
GSXR1000 engine, 280+bhp from a 1600 hayabusa non turbo and 500+bhp from the supercharged engine!
