Westfield XTR2 & IVA

Guys

Anyone know if a XTR2 built as a trackcar in 2004 would pass IVA and have an idea of the level of work involved ?

Hello,

that black and green XTr2 looks great ( NTDWM)

I passed my Xtr2 through SVA end 2008 begin 2009.

Only a few minors things to retest, but i had problems with my emission ( Kawasaki ZX12r engine but exhaust leaks).
Usually, there is no big problem with Hayabusa engines.
It was more easy to pass the XTR2 then my previous Robin Hood.
Only problem with the pistonheads' car is that you should change the nose cone ( this one is the track cone and lights are too low)
As far as i know, the nose cone cost around 430 £ + vat from Westfield.
You should also think at the reverse gear ( there is a reverse kit from Westfield, but most trackday car do not have it)

Hope this help,

Gerardo

That is really good info, thanks. My friend has decided that there is too much money & time involved.
