Mac#1 Motorsports

Spoke to Mark at Mac#1 Motorsports today, what a nice and helpful bloke, he spent quite a bit of time with me on the phone discussing Pro's and con's of different aproaches on a R1 engined car.

Also has a impressive selection of on the shelf parts.

I needed some 1" dia Rad hose.... £2 per metre!!! What a bargain , Car Builder Solutions are selling it at £11+vat per metre

Got a bike sprocket flange adapter cheap, plus some other goodies that i have found hard to locate locally.

Check them out at

You wont be dissapointed!

I gave them a mention in the Mandy69 section. I haven't dealt with them but a friend of mine has ordered a kit from them and was pleased with them.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

well I've praised them a few weeks ago. Last week I arranged to get a screen changed, I said I will be over in the next few weeks on a Saturday if the weather was good. Yesterday i got a phone call off Mac1 saying that they wont be there this Sat as they are doing Evington track day. Now how many companies would phone someone who has only spent £88 to save them a wasted journey. They definately get my Gold star for customer service 10/10

Sorry to be the bearer of bad new but I bought a used pair of Weber's and a manifold from Mac#1 under the impression they were complete the chap informed me they were ready for a 1700 x-flow.

When they arrived all sorts of bits were missing from them including a main venturi. Perhaps this is an isolated incident but I won't be using them again...

Cheers

Seabass - did you try to return them? I've always found them very good at sorting cock-ups, which do happen .......
