Chain drive diff
What grease do I put in an escort based chain drven diff???. It currently looks like strawberry jam

Raspberry jam is better, although the pips can give problems.

Use Chain Wax.
It doesnt fly off like grease (unless you cake it on) and works just as well as oil or grease. Just make sure you squirt it into the joints on the
chain as well as the centre roller part.

I used a good lithium High Temp grease on mine with no problems
