Quarter Mile Drag Day in my MK Indy R1

A couple of vids from today Quarter Mile drag day held by Straightliners@Kirkbride

My car is a R1 powered MK Indy fastest time i managed was 13.39 with a 2.030s 60ft

What is the trick to doing starts like that?
I have to get mine off to a slow start or I stall it!

Lots of Revs, Dump the clutch and control the wheelspin with the throttle.

like been said 6-7k rpm and drop clutch control spin with throttle also really need lsd to get off the line aswell

i the guy in his mega fancy westfield megablade wasn't happy at all kept asking how i was getting off the line so well and i was gone down the straights

You should have told him that he should start some weight reduction starting from the bar under the car.
