do i really need to
dry sump a busa engine if im not going to do many track days or would a baffle in the sump do the job

Ox,
I was told by a 'man in the know' that the Dax turbo boys don't use dry sumps on their 350bhp busa engines. I don't know what
exact mods they make, but they are pretty good at sharing knowledge. May be worth speaking to someone like Duncan Cowper (at the factory).
I suspect (guess?) it's because they don't change the sump height in the Dax, which may well be similar in the Indy with the higher bonnet
line.

There is a detailed look at the hayabusa engine in which kit feb 2004, it makes no mention of dry sump installation.But I think the sump and oil pick
up needs to be modified.They mention HOLESHOT RACING,as specialists in the busa .phone nummber 0113 2576644, If you have not got a copy of which kit,
you can have my old copy, let me no and I will post it to you
