Failed first Start ZZR1100 Help (NOW RUNNING)

so yes as you can tell im trying to get my ZZR1100 engine started in situ.

firstly the exhaust isnt fitted properly but slid in place.

i also havent got a air filter for the box.

so the air filter box is just sat in place.

i thought this wouldnt cause issue.

so the engine wiring is inplace and im using a new battery with Leads to my tintop.

When i turn it over in neutral the engine turns over ok and no worrys.

The HT leads are producing a spark as ive removed one and checked it sparks.

Im unsure on the HT lead setup though but ive put in 1 2 3 4 order hope thats right.

Fuel pump works and it seems to flood the engine pretty quick.

i have used a gravity fed bottle to see how much fuel it takes in.

up till this am it just turned over but when i put the air box ontop it nearly started but just popped and smoked out of the exhaust.

so thats where im at.

any ideas guys n girlz n shemales?

2 coils, each twin output is that correct? or is it a newer one with stick coils?

if its 2 coils then 1 coil will feed pots 1 and 4, other coil will feed pots 2 and 3

either leave the coils in situ and swap the wires for the coils over, or if leads are long enough just swap HT leads over

so same coil for middle 2, and same coil for outer 2

heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it breaks, hit them with it
