Continuing saga of sorting out zzr1200

I have now replaced the zzr1000 carbs that were on my ZZR1200 (it came with them) and replaced them with the ZZR1200 carbs, these have a throttle position sensor. The sensor is wired up. I though I would try the carbs with the jets (150) that came with the bike.
I have a wideband lambda sensor and gauge.
On normal running the engine is running a bit weak and hence is down on power from the larger jets in the 1100 carbs.
However on full throttle I still have hessitation and the gauge is reading very rich (approx 10-11:1 AFR.)
Scratching my head now...

Strontium dog had suggested that the filter and the pipe to the airbox that I have made is too small diameter 60mm
The carbs are each 40mm. Whist the equivalent CSA would be much larger only one carb is sucking at one time??

Another suggestion is that the spring rating on the sliders should be increased.

I have booked in the car at MB motorsport for an initial exploratory rolling road session. Hopefully this will shine some light.

Another thing I have tried is to direct the breather from the carbs foward in the incomming air stream

Any other thoughts...have missed the bleading obvious

Have you blocked the air bleed that shoves air in on the bikes ram air system?

Have you seen these instructions on tuning your bike carbs.

Assuming your carbs are like these, this shows how different throttle openings correspond to different settings of the carbs. It is all a bit complex, but I think these carbs are.

I have a 76mm tube feeding my engine (about 1metre long) which according to my MAP sensor is not at all restrictive.

This thread might be useful regarding your 60mm hose.

Running the numbers through the calculator I get a 0.4% pressure drop along a 1meter 60mm diameter pipe if you are using 120litres/second.

My guess would be jets too large (hence too much fuel at WOT), needles too low (hence too little fuel at partial throttle). But I am no expert. I think you want to get the steady state behaviour right first (jets and needles), and then worry about the transients (slider holes and springs).
