oil pressure
Hi All
Can anyone tell me where i fit an oil gauge sender to a 2008 yamaha r1 motor please ??

Usuall by purcasing an adaptor which screws into where the current pressure sender is located allowing two take off points you can get them cheaper I

There's an oil gallery that runs trough the block with plugs in each end that Yamaha use to test the presure on the earlier 04-06 R1. You can
replace the plug at one end with an adpter. Do a search and you should find the details.
Alternatives that have been used are a modified oil cooler bolt or a sandwich plate behind the filter. The gallery plug is an easier option in my
opinion... provided it's still the same on the 08.
