Flat shift pro set up
I am having trouble setting up my flat shift.
Its changing gear with the clutch perfectly but when I try the flat shift it's like it's stalling first before going into gear so I
thought it was too week ie: ignition cut well before the gear change so I adjusted the pressure switch
But I just can't get it right it's either one way or the other cutting too soon or too late
Any help please

Is your up/down sensor switch directly attached to the gearbox change lever or is it at some other place in your gearchange linkage?
If it is on another part of the change system there may be play/stiction causing the triggering problem.
The sensor switch adjustment screw is pretty sensitive to small adjustments.
It can usually be set up static using the green light/beep to go off just before second gear is selected.
I'm assuming that you have your switch the correct way round otherwise you would get an ignition kill as you try to engage 1st gear which would
stall the engine!
Assuming everything is OK with the mechanical installation - then check your wiring to see if you are only killing the ignition coils and not pulling
down the ECU supply as well.

Everything is ok on the mechanical side the switch is mounted directly to the lever ...
One question is the length of the lever on the gearbox ?? How Long should it be??
The longer the easier the force etc ..

A longer gearbox lever would require less force and longer travel.
What speeds/gears/revs is the 'stalling' effect evident?
I presume you are driving the car and not just sitting in the garage?
The ignition interrupt is only 65ms and is usually barely noticeable when doing flat upshifts.
What happens to the revs when you use the test switch with the engine at idle?
If you have checked all the electrics as per my previous post then you would be best to contact Graham at Trickshifter for further advice.
