Yer man Guinness in here has used one for a while.
Fair to say it's been a mixed experience, it would be fair to say.
Not because it was a bad choice, I beleive more because of a couple of duff motors.

The ZZR1100 is getting a bit long in the tooth.
Bike engines have progressed a generation since the ZZR1100.
The ZZR was pretty good in the day (the unrestricted version).
With hard use gearboxes can damage selectors and dogs and end up jumping out of gear.
THe ZZR1100 also had a reputation for throwing rod no.3 due to oil starvation.
Various fixes were tried over the years.
Newer types of bike engines are more powerful, lighter and smaller. Fuel injection on modern bikes is also a bonus.

Hi yep done one put a dry sump kit on it was ok also can get the zzr1200 to work with it,
The gpz 900r sump does also fit it,
Dad did a zzr1100 demo car also but the dumps can stick out,
Maybe try to go for a mo modern engine etc??? Depends on budget?
Good luck
