Are those things really that quick (I presume modified)? They're 4wd aren't they but still they must have spent some serious cash?

Drew yes it was our car. Lindsay the guy I built it with was driving it with his son in shotgun. We had just been to the hillclimb at Forrestburn
great day out. Unfortunately I was in a Ford Galaxy...

Good fun at crail eh?
I went there last year with the hood.. 160hp pinto and the best time I could manage was 17 sec!!... mind you I did come back with a clutch that still
worked!!
it was cheeeep as well about £25(?) for all day- as many runs as you liked..

Scotlad,
If you don't mind me asking how many miles did you get out of your clutch? I've got up to about 2000 miles on the road, and I *think* my
clutch is biting a little higher on the pedal (might be my imagination!) now that I've 2 track days at Kirkistown coming up this weekend!
Also what clutch are you going for as a replacment - EBC, Barnett or Honda?
All the best
Ali

about 1600 hard miles! no telling how many miles clutch had done before i got engine. now replaced with ebc kevlar plates for £75. no slip evident and
drivetrain much less 'vibrate-ey' than before! was worth if for fab day out!
