Bike Engine Mountings

Hi
Was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on mounting an R1 engine in a book chassis. Ive started to work out how to make some brackets and it occured to me that the engine might need to be mounted on some sort of rubber mounts, or is it ok to to mount it solid?

Also any advice on mounting height/positioning would be most welcome.

Many Thanks to KingR to already providing some useful info.

Have a look at Bob Carter's build. He is using rubber mountings on his R1 locost.

Top Guy.
