DB Killer Recommendation

Any one used one of these DB Killers (see link below)

eBay Item?

Also known as "Splitter Decibel Killer Tailpipe Adjustable Exhaust Noise dB Silencer Racing Car"

If so are they any good?

Cheers
Iain

My opinion, honestly ?

Forget it and fit a better (larger) silencer.

I've used them in years gone by as a get out of jail free card when the other option was trailer up, but a larger silencer is the way to go long term.

eta, looking at your photos if you still have those air filters on a lot of noise will be coming from there, more than enough to fail a noise test on circuit.

Ditto the above.

Used a couple of different "DB" killers with only marginal improvements with massive power deficits.

Induction noise has a massive effect on overall noise when checked.

You're not that far from me, I have a couple of silencers here which you're welcome to try - also a decibel meter to check them!

PM if interested.

I agree but the most important comment is about the pipercross filters, I was at SDB years ago and Steve told me how poor they performed, might as well stick a chicken up the exhaust as well with these fitted.
