R1 oil pressure gauge

Hi
Can anyone tell me where to fit a mechanical oil pressure pipe to a 2007 R1 engine.
The pipe fitting is std on the gauge , but what is the thread needed on the adaptor for the engine.
Many thanks
René

This is not for me but a locost member in

I put mine into the plug on the end of the main oil gallery. There's a plug each end just below the head. M14 thread from memory. Thats where Yamaha test the oil presure. EuropaSpares stock adapters to fit the gallery and take the oil pipe fitting.
Alternative that is used by a few is to drill and tap the oil cooler bolt head.
