How are you guys managing these figures in a vehicle 2-3 times the weight of the bikes?
I never thought about it that way, but I did four brim to empty runs and got 18.9 worst 34.6 best.
What are the quoted Sports Bike figures?

The secret is that you don't slow down for the corners

Figured it out now.
The car needed a breather put in the fuel tank as was suggested. It had only used about £12 of fuel so equating to about 28mpg. I thought that when I
opened the fuel flap and put more fuel in that this was the problem as it then started immediately but as it turned out in was the venting effect when
i opened the flap.
All fixed now thankfully.
