Hi Guys
Me again!
which ratio lsd is best 3.62 or 3.9 for bec with zx9 engine and 13" rims.i`m a little confused with all this ratio stuff
any advice greatly recieved

With 13" rims, you'll probably want the highest rear diff available, especially as a ZX9 has quite low overall gearing. Don't forget that highest
geared = lowest number, so a 3.6 is higher geared (so higher top speed but slightly slower acceleration) than a 3.9, so I'd go for a 3.54 which is
the highest you'll get for an Escort live axle.

I'm assuming from the ratios your quoting that you're using a Sierra diff. I've done a bit of homework over the past few weeks on gearing as I too
have a ZX9C2 engine, but I'm stuck with an Timken (English) diff in which 3.54 is the tallest ratio I can find. But ideally you & I ideally need a
Sierra 3.14:1.
