Jon, I'm a bit disorientated with the piccie, what end are we looking at and from where in the car
Have you got an ally sump guard under the entire engine? If so, how high is your engine in the chassis?

cheers
Chris

Can't figure the piccie either, but with my wonderfully chopped sump the engine is only about 20mm below the bottom rail, and the guard will be straight under that...

Glad it wasnt just me!
Not sure I've got room for a full sump guard on mine without reducing ground clearance further, but I am going to put a deflector bar all the way across in front of the sump just below sump level, which should be sufficient seeing as I've now got an entirely flat bottomed sump with nothing to catch on a stray sleeping policeman.

its taken from the front looking back, what u can see is the btm of the clutch cover, i have around 100mm clearance from sump gaurd too floor......the round bar you see is supporting the gaurd wich is lower than the btm chassis rail........but the ally sheet took a fair wack.....

What do you do about the sump plug Jon, or has your sump been modded and the drain put on the side? I don't think it would really be feasible to get a guard under a standard sump covering the drain plug as well, otherwise it would be practically on the floor if its anyhthing like mine was pre-mod.
