What chassis
Hi folks,
I am new to all this so please be gentle. I am looking for a 7 type kit car to put a bike engine into, GSXR1000 or Hayabusa, can anyone recommend what
chassis would be the best base for this?

Depends on budget, but MK, Mac#1 or MNR as these all do bike engine options.
If its new and to go through IVA remember reverse gear and emisions.
Think about it, think about it again and then do it.

I heard a IVA inspector say that the best Chassis at the moment are MAC1. Shame really as I don't own one.

It will probably be a pre built and registered car as i am a complete retard when it comes to building things, i am in Bedfordshire by the way.
I have a mate that has a Stuart Taylor LocoBlade, after driving that i must have one.

Spire GTR although when I spoke to them about converting my dom they said in reality its pretty difficult to convert to a road going car for a number
of reasons.
Lovely looking car though ;-)
Kind regards

I've had a MAC#1 and now got a Westfield. The quality of my WF is much better, probably the best chassis I've worked on.
The Aries is a good car, but I wouldn't spend 'busa money on one.
Have you got Caterham money?

Whilst Raw dont specialise in bike engines, Andy Bates does and he was (is?) a Raw dealer, specailsing in Bike engines in them. They have an exception
good chassis with proven pedigree

Best what? I assume he could only assess build quailty, which is of course important, but he wouldnt have any idea on how good the chassis geometry or
stiffness levels etc.
