Paddle-shift to column-mounted stick-shift.

Rather like 'yellowcab' and others, I've realised that my hands aren't really up to the job of comfortably using paddles to mechanically shift gears - in my case my fingers are ravaged by rugby and keeping wicket in my younger days.

Rather than completely re-work an unfinished car, I'm hoping that my new paddle-stick hybrid affair will do the job. I just thought I'd share an in-the-rough picture in case others had column-mounted fittings and were thinking of making the same swap.

I think I may have to move the connection points on the fulcrum that shifts the movement by 90 degrees to reflect the greater leverage now in play. I'll let people know how I get on.
