High charging voltage.
Just to give you an update.
After boiling my battery for it charging at 16 v I have replaced the rr and battery started up again today and it's still charging the same.
This is a new build has anybody an idea of what might be happening ?
Regards

Not sure how a rectifier works, perhaps you have a wire not connected so in effect the rectifier is not switched on?
Is it earthed ok?

Double check the wiring, especially the earths between the engine/battery/chassis, the earth on top of the gearbox casing should go directly to the
battery, especially as you have rubber mounted the engine.
The voltage isn't being regulated, it was always at 14.5v, if the new RR hasn't changed anything, logically it's got to be wiring.
