Bike engine manufacture date
Hi,
I have a Kawasaki engine, I have the number off it... I just want to check the year of manufacture, how would i go about this?

You can e-mail Kawasaki UK and they will send you a letter with the information on - It will cost £50 though!
That's how much it was when I asked a few years ago, so I didn't bother.

With a yamaha engine I went into a very helpful local dealer and gave him the details and he gave me a print off of the manufacture details. He was
happy to do it as I'd bought a fair few bits from there aswell. Mr iva man was happy enough with it.

Pretty sure the Haynes ZX9R manual has a list of engine numbers/years in it.
