Engine mounting question

I'm using a Westfield top engine cradle on my Caterham and I've modded it so it fits on 4 lugs I've welded onto the chassis. The upper engine cradle bolts to the top of these lugs.
Thing is, I've decided to lower the engine a bit so would it be OK to bolt the cradle to the underside of the lugs? I know I'd have to reverse the orientation of the bits on the end of each cradle arm but that's not a problem as they are not welded up at present.
In my ignorance I don't see much difference in the above or below mounting positions. The lugs take the same forces, as does the cradle. The only things that will potentially take more force are the bolts securing the cradle in place as they will not have gravity on their side. I intend to address this by using a couple of mm wider mounting bolts.
Is my logic sound or have I overlooked something that's significant?
TIA !
BTW: There's a pickie of the early days of my cradle via the www button at the bottom of my posts.
