Mk Indy - rod to cable conversion.
Going through sorting a few things on my new Indy blade.
It currently has the rod gear selector.
Is it worth swapping to the cable set up, and is it a fairly straightforward replacement ?

Is it working OK?
Leave it alone if so!
Could well turn into a big job converting to a cable,as you need to weld a bracket onto the chassis to hold the cable in the tunnel just in front of
the gear lever,and also you need to make up/weld on a bracket on the engine end to again hold the cable on.
TBH rods give you the best feel and most positive gear change, there is slight play in a cable set up.
