5VY coolant sensor commpatibility?
Does anyone know if the R1 5VY 04-06 Coolant temperature sensor is the same as any other vehicle? Its part 8CC-85790-01. I recall that the air
sensors are the same as used by lots of car manufactures. The sensor looks similar to loads of car ones which are loads cheaper than the £63.28
Fowlers want for one! The car ones are around £15 so potentially a big saving.
I will link some pictuures.....1st of the Yam sensor, then of a car sensor
